Can the 2018 Ford Mustang GT Really Do a Sub-4-Second Zero-to-60?

The 2018 Ford Mustang GT is a lot faster than the old one. The benchmarks we set for the 2016 model with a manual transmission were zero-to-60 mph in 4.7 seconds and the quarter-mile in 13.2 seconds.

With a Steeda stop the hop kit, some 305's in the rear with some drag radials this thing will do lower 11's and even lower 0-60 times and that's STOCK. This new Mustang rocks!

I ran a 12.48 @ 116.7, PP1 10r80 mustang GT. With Michelins A/3+ All season tires.. Nice to see what a good set of summers will do.

Using the track app, my best so far with a 2020 GT 10 Speed Base (without PPKG) was 4.4. Great car and fantastic sounding stock exhaust :)

Fastest way I’ve launched my 2018 was to hold the brake build the rpms up to 3000 then launch I get 3.9 on a consistent basis

My 13 gt pulls under 4 seconds on the street, took to track was only 1/8 mile but i ran a 7.1 at 96 miles an hour, thats on 305 pilots BMR upper and lowers dana one piece aluminum driveline 3.73 ford racing gears and aftermarket intake with a race tune, btw pilots are not good for drag they are made for corner handling so drag radials are a must as i spin the 305 pilots first through third, my mustang would smoke this 2018. The fastest 0-60 ive ever got was 3.4 seconds on drag radials best i can get on pilots is a 4 second flat after several attempts.

He said those pilot sport tires have about the same grip as a drag radial. Well there you have it folks buy pilot sports tires for drag racing.
