My 2018 Mustang GT project has been a quick but interesting venture! I bought the car back in 2019 and after 15,000 more miles it's time for another update! Today we discuss my thoughts on owning my first S550 Mustang while also doing a recap on the Mustang build, its modifications, and my gripes with the car. So is the Mustang GT S550 right for you? Let's go for a drive and talk about it. Thanks for watching and new uploads on Tuesday,Thursday, and Sundays!

I got promoted at work for owning a mustang, so it goes both ways. Great conversation starter for those who like them. It just so happens the big boss at my company has a foxbody and a 2013 GT500. Literally doubled my salary. Shit paid for itself in one year. Thank you Ford!

Keep the white. I think some nice little touches on the shade/shine by Chris could do some good :)

In my opinion it looks so clean in white I would keep it. Plus fits the name better in white. 👍🤘

It looks great in white. Even though my favorite color is blue I wouldn’t change it.

Got the Coyote and 10 speed in my Regular Cab F150 and absolutely love it. No one expects that truck to be so quick.

I have a 2020 with a manual, same color as yours. Ford luckily beefed up the trans again in 2019, and added auto rev matching. It's actually really nice to drive! It will get blown out of the water by an A10 car, but for a daily driver I really enjoy it. Ripping shifts at 7500RPM never gets old :)

I really appreciate that little tangent in the second half of the video. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, or if there's a "stigma" about the car, all that matters is that *you* enjoy it. I have a "17 Honda Accord Coupe V6 (along with 2 other Hondas) and I love it to bits. People give me crap occasionally because it's AT but I couldn't find a manual, and I don't really regret getting the auto anyways. Good thing we don't buy or build cars for anyone else 👍

PS keep it white!

I had a friend who traded in his lifted 2018 Silverado Z71 for a 2018 Mustang GT 6-speed manual last year
Now he’s still enjoying it and wants to start racing soon

Ive got a used 2019 Mustang GT that I got 8 months ago. I daily drive it and have put 30k miles on it so far bringing to to just about 50k miles. I love it! Ive done some styling mods and currently plan to stay NA and going to track it. Ive got a cold air intake with a pump gas tune. Catless long tubes with a h pipe and roush axelbacks. Currently have the Steeda stop the hop kit and Steed strut brace ordered but they’re on back order.

I have a gen 3, and I love it. I opted for the manual, as I already have an auto for a daily, but I agree that the 10r80 mated to the gen 3 coyote is an amazing platform. It's def a cheat code for a solid build. I would keep the car white, it's unique and all the lines and accents pop.

"Because it's easy"
Inexpensive, stylish, great motor, and maintenance is easy... I absolutely love the S550. I've previously had a 2013 Camaro 1SS and a 2016 Camaro 2SS, and currently own a 2015 Mustang GT/PPack with the Roush blower (Phase 1). I can safely and confidently say that these new-age American Pony Cars are some of the easiest and most awesome cars you can own, especially for how relatively inexpensive they are for their performance! I've had this car for almost four years now, and getting into it STILL feels the same as when it did when I got to test drive it! Now, if they could just fix the issues with the 2018+ six-speed manuals, that'd be SO MUCH nicer!

David: Hmm, I wonder if this digital dash will be cheesy? 🤔
Also David: * Gets a splatter paint job on his dash that is the epitome of all things cheesy *

From having a 2018 GT350 and now having a 2021 GT premium, I would say the gt350 was raw and unique, the gt is much better all around, and I absolutely love driving it daily. Note, I also went with the 10r80 and couldnt be happier!

I'm turning 17 in a few months, the first ever mustang that I saw was back in 2012 when the face lifted mustang was released, I was 5 years old. And still, to this day, its still one of my dream cars. This 2018 is such a beautiful car!

i'm proud of my Mustang. Just bought a 2020 last September. It's my 4th one. They're awesome. Anyone who rags on them doesn't know what they're talking about, or can't afford one. My 2020 is in Velocity Blue w/ the silver(ish) stripe pkg, is FULLY loaded.
