This is sound advise. But one cannot control how the other person /partner is going to work out while apart. You can do all you like to try keep a healthy relationship, but if the other person stops all communications without a reason and has left in the dark, there's nothing one can do as I'm not respsible for how my partner will act or be accountable to the relationship while doing long distance. *Talking from experience.
