DRAWING ON A SCREEN! | Wacom Cintiq 16 Tablet | My Digital Art Process

Today we're taking a more in-depth look into my digital art process, using the new Cintiq 16, provided to me by Wacom. I'm still trying to figure out how to film this thing properly, so hopefully with a little practice I'll get there. Let me know if you have any tips for filming the screen!

I'm not a huge fan of the conventional review, I prefer to use it, and show you what happens so you can make your own decisions. If you are looking for a normal review, you can probably find one literally anywhere else.

I was so nervous filming this video. and I think its kinda obvious if you listen. I tried my best and filmed this multiple times and it still didn't turn out the way I wanted. But I think its important to share on this channel that I am far from perfect. so...I'm posting it.

To anyone looking to buy a screen (or, honestly, a pad) tablet for conventional use (not professional): My advice is that it really doesn't matter to get the best of the best. If it doesn't have hotkeys, you'll get used to it without hotkeys. If there's a large border, you'll get used to the border. If it's a small screen, you'll get used to it. So, basically, don't worry about all the details of the tablet. Of course, if you're looking to buy a new tablet and you're used to hotkeys, a large screen, no border, etc, it's probably wise to get a new tablet with similar features but, again, generally you'll get used to whatever you have. So don't fret about the small details and make sure your choice is well informed on other important things (such as reliability, brand, etc). I'm no expert for professional art so don't take my word as law, but this is just with my experience. Best of luck!

Something I love about your videos is that you walk through everything going through your head as you do your art, rather than just stating the obvious or not saying much at all. I love hearing thought processes of other artists and watching you change and even start things over, your channel is very real and I love it!!

I honestly love this video so much because I learned so much about drawing in photoshop, but it didn't feel like some dull tutorial telling me how to do these things, but instead it felt a lot like one of your typical videos where we get to watch you make amazing art. From someone really working hard to make better art, this is a huge inspiration.
