I'm sorry but her art style is honestly so clever it firstly is fast and easy for her allowing her to (in theory) update quite frequently on her web comic. Secondly her use of pressure is complementary to her usage of light and shadows. And thirdly its JUST SO FRICKIN COOL!

For anyone wondering, I struggled with this as well, so I thought it might help. You do not need a screen tablet! It looks hard to master graphic ones, but its really not! Youll pick it up, trust me. Screen tablets are great, but graphic tablets work just as well! I was so worried about this when I got mine but I picked it up in no time! You dont need to worry about that. Just look into the perks!

Have had my Wacom WX 12 for nearly 5 years and don't ever see myself replacing it.

Thanks for this. I watched this a while back when I went through an art craze. Since then, I stopped doing art because I felt like I started too late.
Recently, I was talking to a friend, spilled my heart out a little, and mentioned that I felt like I started too late. I started drawing at 14. We're both 18 now, and he started 5 months ago, he said. His art was really good.
This made me realize that there is no such thing as "starting too late". Now that I realize this, "starting too late" sounds stupid to me. I've been wanting to get a tablet since I realized that.
I'm also a lefty.

As someone who has used both, I much prefer graphic tablets over screen tablets. I find that being able to fully see the screen while you draw is a huge bonus and something that I'd much rather have. Also being able to know the exact place that your cursor is is a lifesavor

I use the XP-Pen artist 12, and I just love it so much; despite it being small, it works so well for anyone looking for a cheap tablet that has really good quality.
