Have you noticed that the Mavic 2 Pro & Zoom are no longer available from a lot of retailers, sub 250g is the way to go & the future of the hobby, I love my Mini 2 and it’s my go too drone, far better than the very disappointing, Hubsan Mini Pro, regards

I have the mini 2 and I am loving it that I cannot stop flying it, I fly every day and I do night flights as well. People are intrigued how high it can fly within legal limits. They ask me where I bought it from and I say argos.

Hi. When will we be able to fly the Air 2s in built-up areas without having to take the A2 course. Thank you.

Great video Sean. I've had my mini 2 about 6 months now and still have my Anafi, the Anafi camera quality is much better so will hang on to it for country use. The Mini is just so great for portability and flies really well, video and picture quality are good (not as good as Anafi though). Been watching Idaho Quadcopter channels review of Hubsan mini and he's not having much fun with it. The Fimi is not perfect so I think Mini 2 will remain king of the sub 250g for a while.

Hi Sean. I still haven't decided which drone to purchase. I've been practicing with an inexpensive but decent drone. There's just so many choices!

I hear nothing but great things about this drone. I did not buy it and I should have. I do love my Air 2S though and I think that is the King of Prosumer Drones!!!

Not sure why, but just installed latest updates to my Mini 2 and for some reason it won't record live video to my Samsung Galaxy s20 ultra anymore☹
Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Had mine over the 8 months and it’s been my go to for all my hobby and commercial work….it’s awesome. Hey I’ve still got my Zinos and many mavic pros from past few years but mini 2 is the bomb!😜. Ok my larger drones do fly better and have collision avoidance etc but honestly do the pre flight checks and I’m good. Ace vid. Thanks, ☝️🤘✌️😂

The Mini 2 has become my favorite drone. I have Mavic Air, Mavic Air 2 and a C-fly Faith 2. They all have their ups and downs, but when I fly the Mini 2, it absolutely dominates. It's the smallest and quietest drone I own. It draws almost no attention at all and those who do see it think its a toy but it's anything but. For me the Mini 2 checks all the boxes and unlike you, I fly it out about 5KM regularly. Only my Mavic Air 2 can go about 1.5 KM farther. I average about 25 minutes flight time because I always return to home at 60%. I have learned that if you land your drone at about 25 to 30% battery left, the batteries stay happy and don't get damaged. If you use your batteries down to single digit percentages, you will overheat them and they will balloon out in about 9 months. The secret to any successful long range flight is to get up high. A mountain, Hill or a High Rise rooftop. The drone will run out of battery before any signal loss occurs because you have perfect line of sight. So I agree with you. The Mini 2 is my favorite. It is my everyday drone. The other thing I like is that the video is very sharp. Many like motion blur, I do not. I love the crystal clear image. I use a program called snag-it to crop and cut pictures from the videos. In my opinion, the images come out better than if I use the Mini 2's camera and by using Snag-it, I never miss the best shots. Nice Video. Cheers!

Hi have been flying drones for some years as a hobby. The DJI mini 2 is the first DJI. I doubt if I will buy anything else in future. I have an A2 certificate, I might get something bigger when the are marked. This drone is throughly reliable easy to set up and get into the air. The controller I really like. Get about 20 mins flight time on average.

I've just come back of holiday from Somerset and took my mavic air 2 and the mini 2 and I've been looking at the new mini drone out there but it looks a nightmare as for the mini 2 it got some really good footage especially now I've played it back on my 4k TV so I will be sticking with it and if there's a mini 3 out there then I will definitely buy it because dji I find is so reliable 😁 great video as usual my friend look forward to some more 😁👍🇬🇧

Dji = Drone Juggernaut Inc.
It's all about QUALITY. I fully understand what's going on when Dji didn't put tracking and waypoints and obstacle avoidance on the mini 2. Hubsan and Fimi tried to do their mini drones with those features.
But if you really want something better than the mini 2 just save your money for the Dji mini 3 or just wait until Autel mini drone lands.

Thanks Sean. I have a Hubsan Mini Pro on order but if I cannot get a delivery date out of Hubsan in the next few days, despite repeated emails, I'll cancel the order and buy a Mini2. I would have preferred the Hubsan's larger image sensor but the Mini 2 has many other advantages that maybe go to overcome that. The sub 250 gm market evolution is fascinating. At 680gm, my Bugs4 (JJRC X11) is great in wind but camera quality and video stability are poor in comparison.

So one thing that bugs me a little is that @20% we get low battery eating with about 5 mins of flight time left. Soo actual flight time is not the full battery capacity. The beeping stresses me out and I don’t fly once it gets to that point. Sure slap in a new battery and crack on but.
