If he is to choose to step down, can you give us an idea of what exactly would then happen next in Chicago? Sure. So

again, he's the president, but he's not officially the nominee of his party for the 2024 election yet. That happens at the convention in Chicago in the middle of August. You know, even without this issue, everyone expected was going to be kind of a festival of protests and competing ideologies and things like that, protests over Gaza and other things, but that seminal event is now kind of looming. There's another debate scheduled, but it's not until after the conventions at the end of September, so three months away. So what's going to happen at that convention? If Biden decides to step down, the party will have to come up with another candidate. They can't use the primary system. That is basically over. All of the states have voted. Joe Biden didn't have any real opposition. He never debated other Democrats.
