The WORST Forza Game was my First...

With the new Xbox Series X and S Forza Motorsport coming soon, I've been playing a bunch of the older titles. This was my very first Forza game that I purchased... it's also the worst of the bunch. Thankfully I tried Forza Motorsport 4 and Forza Horizon beforehand!

FM5 had the impossible task of following up FM4. But even considering that, you could feel there was a change in direction. The progression has been simplified, and in general the game promotes using pre tuned cars instead of requiring you to build them yourself. It felt more like a game for casual gamers who happened to get the game bundled in with their new Xbox One. But for enthusiasts there just wasn't enough there to keep you occupied. Fine game but definitely falling short in many areas

I played this recently for the first time a few months back and honestly it's not a bad game at all. The visuals and score are great still and the campaign is fun to get through. Also anything with Clarkson is always great

I got this game and Horizon 3 for 20$ to build my collection, don’t know know why its hated so much, its a solid game. A way to get past them upgrading for you is checking the event restrictions and different cars that partake in it, then go out of career mode and buy the car you want from the buy cars section, it remains stock.

My first Forza game was Motorsport 4, I have good memories with that game and I still have it today 👍🏻

My first forza was motorsport 4. I understand that five was hated open quite a bit, however i genuinely enjoyed it. Was not the most fun but not the worst.

Ashamingly i feel like the game had more showcase value then gameplay value.

Forza nowadays is not really up to much anymore, I feel like the games haven't moved foward enough and changed, making forza horizon 3 and forza motorsport 7 my last purchase.

I bought the very first Forza Motorsport for the gen 1 Xbox, still have both the console and the disk for the game, absolute blast back in the day.

My first Forza title ever was actually Motorsport 4, and I bought a second Xbox 360 just for that. But then I got my Xbox 360 jailbroken just to get all the Motorsport titles for the 360 as well as all their title updates and DLC.

Much later, I eventually went on to play and own every single Forza title and I still have them to this day.

Motorsport 4 remains my most favorite Forza title ever, with Motorsport 7 coming at a close second.

Forza Motorsport 4/Forza Motorsport 3 were my first two Forza games back when I got my 360 almost 11 years ago now.

Forza Motorsport 4 was the first game I bought with my own money. It is propably the greatest racing game Microsoft ever released. You should 100% react to the Clarkson "Endangered species" trailer before playing it.

My first Forza game was THE first Forza game on the OG Xbox. Loved that game, and still do today.
FM5 was probably the weakest for me.
Gameplay-wise, it was really solid, but what really ruined it for me was the lack of content (especially when compared to FM1-FM4)

I loved this game when it first came out. Forza Motorsport 5 introduced me to the Forza series including Horizon. So much nostalgia 👍🏿😊
