One funny thing about the AI at the highest difficulty is that once you actually overtake them, they just give up - they forget how to drive and end up crashing/or taking unusual lines to lose time so it makes the overtake feel way less satisfying/rewarding.

All points are absolutely true and valid, it’s a baffling and incredibly disappointing game. I’ve played every Forza game at launch, except for 5, and this is easily the biggest let down in the entire franchise.

6 months later and i honestly cant find a single improvement. its still lags, it still has plenty of rendering issues, loading screens can still softlock the game, i spent more time in the loading screen than i did in a race at nürburgring.

The fact the restart and skip options are in the 'exit' submenus is a clear example that the people making the game lack fundamental understanding of how any game should work, and the standards and practices developed not just for the entire industry over the past 30 years, but for their own specific franchise have just been lost to time.
