A fast and furious how-to for those interested in integrating Substance Painter to their workflows.

I show how to export from Maya, bake maps in Substance Designer, and create some fast fill, dirt, and edge wear layers in Substance Painter.

if i want to import this into maya to view it with mental ray how do i get it to work? i created a stingraypbs on my model but i just have a red texture instead of all the details i added to my model in substance painter. I tried adding the AO, roughness, metallic, and normal maps under the attributes in hypershade.. but nothing :/ any idea?

I can't see my model in substance designer when I select it - anyone else have this issue?

Thanks very much for this tut: Very informative. A little off-topic, but do you use ZBrush? If so, what do you think of its UV tools?

Please help me if you can, its driving me insane. I got a character, it's complex, i have exploded my mesh in man and baked out my normals, AO ect. I don't know how to make a color id map tbh, and I don't know how to paint different parts of my mesh. I can't detatch any of it because it is baked all on one so stumped

So you can just export all the texture/materials back into maya?

Can u make organic guide, but not too detailed like it has pores, veins and stuff, specifically anime'ish character texturing, I think like a toy or figma
