You sir are an absolute legend! I've been lost in substance painter i'm fairly new to it and you've explained basically everything I needed. So thank you very much for this.

I had a question for you as well, when I am in substance painter and working on my texturing some of the parts of my mesh will just be way darker than the others without even doing anything to them but baking, I thought it was maybe ambient occlusion or something but I dont know for sure I was wondering if you had any suggestions to make all the parts just one brightness?

Thank you again for this fantastic video and I hope your channel gets the exposure it truly deserves man. If you keep pumping out substance painter videos i'll watch every one haha i'm mainly doing blender to substance painter and hopefully once I have enough assets made I can start doing things in unreal engine so I got a lot of learning to do and your teaching style is fantastic for these things so please keep it up!

Is substance painter good for making hardsurfaces that is brand new? all I can see are cheap ways to add scratches, wear and tear and such. but how do you make something brand new without making it look plastic or fake?
