I loved to know there is a brand called “Sol de Janeiro “.
I’m from Brazil.
You describe scents very well.
Some words:

Cheirosa -> a girl that smells good, fragrant girl
Sol de Janeiro-> january sun
Beija-flor->hummingbird
Leite de coco-> coconut milk
Pipoca-> popcorn
Cheiro doce-> sweet smell
Água de coco-> coconut Water

“Água de Coco” was launched in november because it is almost summer in Brazil

I did some research because I was intrigued as well, but I read that : “Cheirosa ’62’ because 1962 was a big year for Brazil. The song “The Girl from Ipanema” was released, Brazil won the FIFA World Cup, the famed Havaianas launched and Bossa Nova hit the world stage. “ I guess it’s the same for the other numbers 🤭

39 is SO underrated. it got reformulated which im happy about bc i didnt like the popcorn note in the previous version but now it just smells like sweet amazing coconut milk!

Yeah I agree about the 71 smelling like a total snack!?? The 71 and 39 are the best most sweet dessert smelling scents from the line!!! Im obsessed with them both and honestly feel like 39 may even be a bit MORE sweet and dessert like ....oh man it's so addictive!!!

I am obsessed with Cheirosa 40. It’s pretty much become a top ‘can’t live without’ fragrance to me. Perfect combo of fruity/woody/vanilla. Layers with Valentino Donna Born in Roma like a dream! Also it smells just like 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods but I think it has even more longevity and sillage for a fraction of the cost! ✨

I bought no 68 because of your review in one of your recent videos and I freaking luvvvv it. Sprayed it in Sephora and I kept getting whiffs of it everywhere I went omg it’s divine. I ordered the big bottle online immediately! I can’t wait for it to get here !!!

I didn't read the comments before leaving mine so excuse me if I'm stating something that was already said, but the numbers on the body sprays are supposed to represent a monumental year in Brazil. There's Some type of significance in those years to Brazil / Brazilians

My obsession just started. I got 62 two weeks ago and just got Anitta and 68 today. It's been an hour of wearing Anitta and I'm getting that delicious vanilla bean right now. This is perfect. I don't typically like vanilla perfumes because they're too cloying on me but all of these body sprays have been great and I'm probably going to pick up more soon.

Cheirosa 39 is really good. It smells very coconutty, so if you like beachy, coconut scents, you'll like it. It's similar to Thank u Next but without the raspberry and rose notes. It is also very creamy.

I love cheirosa 39 ♥️♥️ it is absolutely delicious !!! It used to be my signature scent. When I started buying only cruelty free makeup, skincare and perfumes, I didn’t have many perfume option out there. Sol de janeiro body mist were one of the few option and at the time I didn’t like the original scent, I preferred the 39. Now I like them both but still prefer the 39, I got lots of compliments when I’m wearing it.

Sol de Janeiro make bomb fragrances and I get complimented almost every time I wear them. Every time I wear the Anitta spray, a random guy always ask what I’m wearing. The Sea & Sol (blue) gets a lot of male attention too. ‘62, ‘68, and ‘71 gets the most compliments from women.

cheirosa 40 is literally the best thing i have ever smelled. it’s really sweet, but also not too sweet to still smell amazing. it’s good for any time of the year, and the scent lasts so long😍

Cheirosa 39 is coconut 🌴 coconut 🥥 and coconuts! I love it, but I know many hate it…coz it smells like natural authentic coconut. It’s a very blended and non-synthetic smell. I highly recommend.

You are so right about 40! It’s a gorgeous vanilla scent and the dry down is similar to a Dua Vanille Overload which is a dupe of Spiritueuse Double Vanille🥰😍
