The sad truth is that there are so many Sonic haters and detractors out there who just seem to have this list of mindless nitpicks that they just have to include in their "reviews" of any Sonic game.

"Sonic has green eyes! BAD!"
"It has a story and I have to sit through lame cutscenes! BAD!"

"Sonic is voiced by Ryan Drummond when he shouldn't even talk at all! BAD!"

Meanwhile the people at Sega are banging their heads against their computer screens knowing that they simply can't catch a break.

I don’t think you realize that the people who write the review, record the footage, and do the voiceover are 3 different people in most IGN videos. That footage almost definitely doesn’t belong to the actual reviewer

I actually liked the werehog stages. It broke up the gameplay into something different. If it were the same the whole time it would just be the same as every other game from sonic. It's not perfect, like the stages being too long for the werehog but it was still fun to play as the character.

I know I'm the one in a million here but, I think Sonic Free Riders' score was valid.

I got the privilege of playing the kinect in a large shed so I had plenty of room. In those circumstances, the kinect works as intended. The problem is most people were playing in lounge rooms and such which just simply isn't enough room for it to work (which IS a valid issue but still)

Thus, I loved Free Riders and enjoyed other kinect games.
