Honestly surprised this got a 7 with how much valid criticism this LP is getting 😭 and if that’s the case im really curious to see how he thinks of Jennie’s Ruby. It’s currently being regarded as the best BP solo project by pop fans so hopefully he considers reviewing it.

This a great analysis of the album. It definitely showcases her different persona. She is showing that she can express herself in many ways of musical genre. The production of this album is amazing and creative. Lisa wanted to explore different genres with fun vibes. This album is fun, and I play the whole album when I need to be empowered and lift my mood. I am surprised by how good this solo album of Lisa’s is. people are HATING on this album, but i've had it on repeat. The first listen was a crazy experience, so strange for a kpop star to go this hard, and this much genre bending. it's a clever little album that a lot will write off, calling it shallow and unthoughtful - but it's pure pop on steroid, and so so tightly orchestrated. Not a single boring moment, and it will become a classic, just like Lisa's previous solos.

ngl the whole alter ego concept felt a little undercooked. it could've worked better if the album had like interludes that better transitioned and diferentiated one personality from another, or even if she worked with less alter egos (vixi and roxi are kinda two sides of the same person if you pay attention), or if there was a different album for each of them. this album just falls flat in the execution, even more so bc lyrically it's barely any different from the songs she released under blackpink and yg. i'll give lisa some grace bc the ideas are there and the singles are very strong, even if i felt like she was biting more that she could chew.
