For anyone here who is not interested in history, the short story of the so-called Taiwan issue is: After WWII, Taiwan was returned by the defeated Japan to China by law. At that time ROC (Republic of China) was recognized by the international community as the legitimate representative of China. Then the China civial war broke out. ROC was defeated by PRC (People's Republic of China) and treated to Taiwan. Lucily aided by the US military force, ROC remains in Taiwan till today. Now PRC is recognized by the international community as the China. So, Taiwan (ROC) is seen as a rebelling region in the view of PRC. ROC of course claims it is not part of PRC, but it does not change the fact that the Taiwan island has been part of China for centuries, except for a few decades of Japanese occupation.

what experiance do the US have with a military which is capable of fighting the US. china is not Irak. I think, this analyse is completly wrong. given, that the US has to ship most of its army to Taiwan. Let's hope, it will never happen, if it happens, the US will face a terrible loss, unless they use nuclear weapons. then, they will not be the only one and the human race will be evaporised.

Yes americans have fought a lot of wars, but with whom? Syria? Iraq? Do you think china is iraq? Technologies dont need that much od actual practise, if chinese hypersonic misseles can land on its target while training, it will land on its target during wartime, america cant win the war on the chinese neighbourhood, and it wont humiliate itself for taiwan

I think it's terribly sad that a nuclear winter will be the final strike. Every nuclear power will shoot their missiles and no one left surviving will even remember a tiny island once called Tawain.😢 I guess the USA can still brag what's left of it the world ended but we were still number one. Sad no one will be in any condition to write that down.
