After installing new skirted toilet I realized the old angle stop valve would not work with the new installation, I install this SharkBite Max 1/2 x 3/8 Inch Compression Straight Stop Valve, Quarter Turn, Push to Connect Brass Plumbing Fitting, PEX Pipe, Copper, CPVC, PE-RT, HDPE, UR23037 onto the copper end of the pipe. I made sure to shut the main water supply off and drain the residual water in the supply lines before hack sawing the old angle stop valve off. As an influencer I can earn from qualifying products. Here's the link to order this same sharkbite fitting:

About this item
FAST AND EASY INSTALL: SharkBite Max push-to-connect brass push straight stop valves are used on stub-outs coming out of the floor and used to control and shut-off water flow in existing PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT and SDR-9 HDPE pipes. No need for soldering, glue, or additional tools; pipe connector can be installed in wet lines and ideal for working in tight spaces

STRONG AND DURABLE: The reinforced stainless steel collar locks in the cartridge and provides additional strength for 50 percent reduction in insertion force

CERTIFIED: Straight stop valves are rated to 160 degrees F and 125 PSI

That looks so simple. I can't believe that it was that quick.
