This guy is so far removed from reality it’s actually quite scary. It’s embarrassing how he continues to insist they are helping us.

“Saving £330 per year, which will really help” words from a man completely detached from the tax payers reality 🤦‍♂️

That tie probably cost more than most people's monthly wage.

Sunak: a multimillionaire who made his fortune on the London hedge fund market and is married to one of the richest women in the UK who is the daughter of a multil billionaire. Yet Sunak supposedly understands what many are going through.

Outstanding. We need more people like her in Government!

This is why billionaires shouldn't be in charge of a country's economy, they are way too out of touch with how most people live.

'when people are filling up their cars' ... THEIR being the crucial word, as opposed to filling up a car borrowed from a Sainsbury's deputy manager for a handy photo op. Eh, Rishi??

I despair at working people voting for these shameless and heartless crooks in suits .

Politicians should be paid minimum wage so they know how it feels to be a common citizen. Why is a guy worth half a billion pounds making these decisions? Its a flipping joke.

This was obvious within 5 seconds of him saying it. He knows it, he allowed it, he announced it. He's lying.

He's so proud of the 5p a litre fuel duty cut isn't he? The poorest people, the people who can't afford to heat and eat, those who are at their wits end and desperate, don't drive cars Rishi. They will have no benefit from this. They needed more UC benefit or a massive cap on domestic fuel price, which would have benefited us all. Even both, so that no-one is so miserable and depressed that they can't enjoy life. But what would a man who's wife is richer than the Queen know about how it feels to be desperate for money. He's stratospherically out of touch with ordinary people.

"We raised living costs up to 52%, raised fuel costs upwards of 50p per litre, we've just proposed a 5p per litre tax cut, we aren't asking mega rich companies to pay their tax bills...I don't understand why people aren't happy with this"

Sunak, Johnson and all of their Tory cronies are an absolute joke and are so out of touch with reality it borderlines on being a cartoon/comedy sketch...but nobody is laughing

He's rich. His wife's rich. He father's rich. Guess how much he wants to help the poor. The ones who will not vote for his party.

"We cut fuel duty which will help people save when filling up."
Mm.. loved that 5p off the 20L of fuel I got this week that cost me £50. Really helped me save some money right there..

When politicians are on minimum wage, they will care.
Until then, we are all fools.
