Aztec Empire came to an end at the hands of Conquistador Hernan Cortes but not before Emperor Montezuma, and his people, were able to sneak their mass amounts of wealth north to seven separate locations in what is now the American Southwest. For five centuries, thousands have searched for Montezuma’s treasure and the 7 Cities of Gold. The treasure is believed to be made up of an enormous quantity of gold bars, silver, precious stones, jewelry, and other Aztec artifacts. Historians estimate the value of all of these items to be worth over $3 billion dollars.

Lost Gold of the Aztecs follows three families determined to break the 500-year-old curse of Emperor Montezuma and find the treasure. The series will intercut each family’s epic adventure as they search for the 7 Cities of Gold on three different properties in three different states – the Dillmans in Utah, the Hoaglands in Nevada, and the Villescases in New Mexico. Who will be the first to find the Aztec Gold?

“If we find a tunnel system then we have evidence that someone made that tunnel, and we want to find out if it was the Aztecs.” The place is literally called Weeping Cave because the water weeping out, ie it is “tunneling” through the sandstone.

That green dye just traveled thru natural fissures in the rock. No man-made tunnels.

If those divers find treasure you really think they are going to tell them about it

why not send in a small drone plenty of space and less disturbance

I would need confirmation that these are in fact those shells. Seems like it's a guess on his part. I can see how these shells could be woven together to make a strong, lightweight breast plate for protection against bladed weapons like spears or arrows.

Quick question: has an actual BIG find ever happened on this show? It seems to be the definition of disappointment tv

The white rock at the bottom of the cave appears to be thin slabs. Sure am curious what might be buried beneath.

Dan this is the same type of bone work i found near the Seven Caves . they were a tribe of shaman masters of stone and bone work .., and the birthplace of Montezuma 1 & 2..i found a shaman stone near the Seven caves made to make needles and fish hooks mush like the holes in your shells you found .. ! my research shows that they hide the treasure in the Seven caves and than sent more treasure to other locations like the one your working on ...if your finding high grade bone and shell work it was most likely made in the Seven Caves ...these shaman made Olmec stone work .if you want to see the type of shaman stone used to make those shell beads let me know ..

I just looked up if any Aztec gold has been found and a construction worker found a bar of gold that was plundered by Cortez. Mexico city was built on top of the Aztec city. So the gold is probably under the streets of mexico

He could say all of that by just looking at those shells. Ok that's believable 😶

You need a second opinion, it may be something else than a shell.

Maybe you should drain the cave. Or use some metal detector or radar that can map the cave.

This is 100 % actual proof they may have been there. If not their on oak island, blind frog ranch or even possibly skin walker ranch 🇦🇺
