Oblivion's Duplication Glitch in 2023

In today's video, we discuss The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion's Duplication Glitch. This glitch involves equipping 2 or more of the same scroll, and then dropping an item to create multiple copies of it. This bug can be used for consumables like health or magicka potions, arrows for a bow, or expensive items to sell. There are some circumstances where the glitch won't work. I remember I made a dark elf character and I discovered this glitch on my own without finding it on youtube. I was overencumbered and tried dropping some stuff. I ended up doing this over and over again then I purchased Benirus Manor in anvil and Rosethorn Hall in Skingrad, and I bought the black and burgundy and blue suede outfit with black and gold trimmed shoes.

Then I used a Silver longsword and bought a black horse from cheydinhal and I always carried high quality wine on my character because I figured my character was now a noble for having two properties fully upgraded and still had like 100k gold despite being only level 5-10.

It works if you drop stacks the problem is that it becomes a nightmare to collect them all because it will always ask you how many do you want to pick up. Its just too much clicking.

I never used scrolls just collected a bunch of them this has saved me countless hours trying to save up money cause damn the inflation in the game is ridiculous

I remember the first time I played oblivion. Within the first like 10 minutes I figured out you could dupe items by dropping an item from your inventory and immediately shooting it with an arrow. Decided the game probably wasn't worth my time (I had never heard of the elder scrolls at that point). I keep looking for youtube videos about it but I guess this glitch ended up being easier after all these years

I have an open treasure chest at the bottom floor a pirate ship in a cave, full with about 1000 Skoomas.

Steam Version PC: 11/24/24 : It works, but not on every single item. Used for Black Soul Gems, Arrows, Self-Enchanted Weapon, SKOOMA, and Lockpicks. (100 Scrolls on Lockpicks crashed my game 😂).

Accidentally had the wrong spell equipped and duped 150 longswords and because my xbox one is so old it runs at like 5 fps now

Dude so i was given 3 scrolls from someone and i was excited to dupe finally and i noticed there are no numbers. Like it just shows one scroll still even though it said x3 when given to me. So idk if this is possible anymore
