I'm sure you're already aware of this by now, or maybe I'm  incorrect. I thought I saw on the final disc for series 7, that the Science of Doctor Who was included. I could be mistaken though. Thanks  for the great vids

The Australian individual release of Day Of The Doctor also includes the sequences that were shown prior to the special in cinemas, as does the 50th Anniversary Collector's Set.

I love these big boxes. :) I got into Doctor Who just recently, mainly because of your videos. Still on Christopher Eccleston, but digging it. Love Rose already! The new series is easier for me to watch cause it's on Netflix. Great video!

I bit the bullet and just bought this set from a reseller (still new and sealed) but now the set is $280. I decided to get it over the individual series sets because of the contents and because I have the Capaldi set as well. I hope Jodie gets a complete set as well so that I can get that for the shelf too. Great vid!

Something that is missing from this set are the mini episodes that were part of the British version of the confidential, for example the chronology of River Song, and the episode, "Death is the Only Answer."  These are not available in North America for some stupid reason.

Cool video Sean. When it comes to DW, I'm most familiar with the Matt Smith years, though I also know the David Tennant and Christopher Eccleston years quite well. I'm not as familiar with Classic Who, though I have seen a few episodes and watched SF Debris review many if the classic episodes. I will get around to watching the entire classic series at some point. As for Matt Smith, he grew on me and I liked him more as time moved on, but I didn't immediately like him like I did with David Tennant. As you can probably tell, David Tennant is my favorite doctor.

For anyone interested, the text on the cover is High Gallifreyan and it's exactly the same circles that appeared on the Doctor's cot in A Good Man Goes to War.

I'd love to have a comprehensive list on how to buy all of new who. Some of the releases in Britain can get really murky on what exactly is present on every volume, especially for the most recent releases. Some of the earlier seasons Christmas specials are included in the season volumes, some you have to buy separately, if I buy the complete series 1-7 am I getting everything up to and including the 50th year special? If I buy series 8 does that include any of the new specials? It gets really tricky.

Just want to point out, Vasta's debut is not in Hungry Earth. Its the same actor but according to the Wiki they are separate characters.

Been having your collection reviews on in the background for the past month or as I’ve been going under radiation treatment (don’t worry it’s completed and got a thumbs up from my Dr.) was wondering if you will be doing any reviews on the classic who blu ray seasons sets with them almost being half way done and what will you be doing with all your who DVD’s since the blu’s will have everything and what’s your plan for all that shelf space you’ll have when it’s complete

Yeah I agree I have the bond 50 collection which has the cardboard sleeves and I haven't had a problem and in that the pages are a lot thicker.

I just bought this opened from a local seller last week via Varagesale about $150, he only watched 1 disc, it's basically almost new, and my Dad bought for me the Peter Capaldi complete set, via amazon.ca it's still on sale $79.99!

its always annoyed me greatly that dr who confidential was never released uncut. I'm pretty sure the reason though is the music. dr who confidential used about 5 different songs as backing tracks every episode. At least from what I can remember I haven't seen dr who confidential uncut since their transmission. I recorded some of the earliest season 1 and 2 confidential's on VHS at the time but those are long gone. The BBC has always had a problem when it comes to music on there dvds.

I've genuinely never understood their complete unwillingness to secure music rights for dvds. There have been several sitcom releases where the BBC have removed entire scenes because of the music in the background to the point where it actually effects the narrative.

The show only fools and horses is the best example, it airs on TV completely fine but the dvd releases have been butchered to a certain extent.

My sister has the UK David Tennent set when the UKs BBC SHOP was closing and being replaced by the crappy streaming no merchandise BBC Store and also I had no idea HMV was in Canada, I thought that it was UK based since that is were I get the majority of my classic doctor who collection, sometimes online since it is cheaper, great set.
