Poodles are my favorite dog. I have had Standard Poodles and Miniature Poodles, and now I want a Toy Poodle so bad I can't stand it. I have had Poodles my whole life, and I'm now 52 years old. I pray that God will bless me with a Toy Poodle someday. I have never heard of all these other types of Poodles. I will have to research this. Poodles are awesome! May God bless you always! Poodle is prone to separation anxiety. They are clingers. Two walks a day, obedience training at least three classes and lots of play. Standard poodles may need gastopexy. Expensive but prevents serious harm

I have 2 royal standards here both with long tails and both neutered. Love of my life. I’ve had toys and minis but standards are the best!

I have a labradoodle F1B / she is 3/4 standard poodle. I’ve had multiple breeds of dog. She is the best. Smart, picks up on subtleties, easy to train, eager to please, loves people, little people, other animals. Also has a fun personality.

Poodles are NOT hypoallergenic however they don’t tend to shed. The “Royal” Standard is a Standard….just really big and really just recognized as a Standard although some people call them Royal. However Royal is not appropriate and is not used by reputable breeders

No. Just NO. Don’t put “poodle mix” as a TYPE of POODLE. It’s a mix. I was raised with standard poodles. My brother and sisters also had standard poodles as family dogs. They are wonderful animals. I’ve had a standard for 12 years. I also had a moyen for 3. Moyen is a great size and he had a bark much deeper than my standard. Lovely dog in my house, but an absolute terror in my backyard. He killed, or attempted to kill, any other animal he found — crazy boy and he got rehomed. I also adopted a 13 year old mini who stole my heart. My only regret was not having that mini for his first 13 years. There are dogs….and there are poodles. ❤❤🐩🐩 ‘Nuff said!

years of German Shepherds, Malamutes and Huskies...I conceded to the anti shedding contingent in my houshold and became the proud parent of a gorgeous sold black Standard....our by an Apricot girlfriend Chloe....then even kept a pup...Solid Chocolate Brown ...Bailley...so I am a total convert to the breed...smart, loyal good with other dogs and if somone tried to harm me....teeth like a German Shepherd.

All poodles are the same breed. Just different sizes. Why talk about them like they are different? And showing a dwarf poodle as a standard poodle just shows how little you know of the breed.

Teacups get dental issues, all kinds of issues. Very expensive to maintain. Put pet insurance on a new pup before it gets to a year old.
