In this 40 Minute Upper Body And Abs Workout, I take you through multiple total body movements using a set of mid-weight dumbbells (I had a set of 10lb dumbbells. If you need some, grab some from the link below)! I burned 415 calories*! What can you burn?

Equipment I use:

I calculate all of my calories using an Apple Watch 3 with the High Intensity Interval Training Workout application.

In this workout you are training with me, Sydney Cummings, owner of Royal Change and NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutrition Specialist. I am a fitness trainer is Charlotte, North Carolina and was a Division 1 athlete at West Virginia University where I was a national qualifying high jumper. I use my knowledge from my NASM certifications, bachelor’s degree, nursing school experience, and my elite athletic background to lead you through workouts designed to make you a stronger, more balanced athlete. I injured my foot recently so doing these arm workouts on my knees helps me stay active! I'm a runner so not being on my feet sucks but at least I'm getting stronger!

This was the hardest workout of Sydney's I have found so far! I got so sweaty and my arms were weak after so washing my hair wasn't easy. :) Thanks for all your workouts that I am using in the quarantine.

I dit it! I was telling myself at the middle of the workout " it's enough Melissa you did the half job but you're already sweating like you've took a shower" and then a little angel told me " Why would you stop there if you know that you can finish this workout ?". I CRUSHED IT!!!💪🏻 I haven't done arms in soooo long, and I got weak, but I finished and I pushed until failure!! So proud of myself!! Thank you Sydney for inspiring me to push my hardest to become my best and most healthy self! I love you and God bless you!!

Loved this workout! Only thing I've been noticed my lower abdomen been hurting whenever I try to do any kind of ab workout for a week now. I don't know if maybe I pulled a muscle or what ☹️. But anyways great workout for my arms they're definitely feeling good right now!!!

Sydney, I would love to see you redo this workout now that your instruction style has been refined and you don't count out loud or force us to use your pace, because the format and combination of moves was really wonderful. I just kept hitting pause so that I could catch up. But my upper body is toast! 😁 Crushed it! 💪
