I was in Rome a few years ago, and was in awe at seeing the Colosseum for the first time. I can only imagine what it was like when it was first made

Man i'd give anything to be able to go back in time and see Greece and Rome during their Golden Era days, it's a shame time and war destroyed so much of it.

Dear WM, this is a awesome list & good video 🤩 sadly the title doesn't really suit the clip, cause there is not enough "what they used look.." in this top 10 😼
Ps: please do a sequel (there are a lot of sites) to this video with more "what they used to look like" clips and add the Gladiator Colosseum in Rome.

I recommend looking into Caral, Peru. It's fascinating because it's a pre-pottery city that thrived by thousands of miles of trade without beasts of burden, and had no military defense.

My top pick to visit in it's heyday would be Tenotchtitlán, the island capital of the Mexica/Aztec Empire. I can't believe it didn't even get an honourable mention.

Both the Library and the Lighthouse of Alexandria must have been incredible to see!
That's where I would want to travel back in time to.

These sites show almost Alien level societies to us today & should absolutely be protected at all costs!

I‘m a bit underwhelmed… I expected to SEE graphics or renderings of what the sites were looking like… am I the only one?

That’s a toughy…. I’d love to see The Roman Colosseum but also any of the Egyptian buildings. Which I more so favor Egyptian Mythology over Greek or Roman. I’ve always have been fascinated with Egyptology.

The reason I want to see the Great Wall is because of Spiro the Dragon on PS1.
The One place I WOULD LOVE TO VISIT is Petra in Jordan. Indiana Jones made sure of that.

Easter Island, aka Rapa Nui would be my pick if I could time travel. I’d love to know who built the Moai and why they did it

I wouldn't mind going back in time to visit the Tower of Pisa before it started leaning along with the Hanging Gardens of Babylon and Colossus of Rhodes.

Ancient ruins are amazing! I always wonder how they were built, how they were used, and why they were abandoned.

I actually did go to Greece with my family back in 2005. Mostly, it was to visit relatives, but we included some sightseeing
