I've been to Pompeii, and the sensation of walking down a street, being able to place your feet into the grooves worn into the stone by chariot wheels... it's impossible to describe.

Fun Fact: Many believe the reason Tutankhamen Tomb was undisturbed was that it was made for his Father Akhenaten (Amenhotep IV). There are many treasure recovered from the Tomb that show the worship of the Aten. Look at the Royal Thrown buried with Tutankhamen and you will see the Aten Cult on the Back Plate.

What amazed me the most here is that the British Museum has finally a historical artifact that's not stolen.

What about Mohenjo-daro. If Richard III's grave can make the honorable mention, Mohenjo-daro is deserved to be on the list.

Otzi was also known for proving body modifications have been around that long. He had tattoos and even ear gauges

You gotta wonder what they stole from the tomb if they left all that there.

All I know about Pompeii is that there was a man named Caecilius, his wife Metella, his son Quintus, their dog Cerberus, their servant Grumio, and that Caecilius est in horto...

I’ve been to Pompeii and seen Tut’s treasures in Cairo’s museum. Pompeii is truly a sight to behold and highly recommended to anyone who’s able to visit Italy. As for Tut, well, let’s just say 16 year old me was ECSTATIC when I saw his treasures. We had just learned about him in my History class and I even did a speech on his statue of Anubis. Cairo also holds the fake Rosetta Stone, while the real one resides in the British Museum (I’ve seen both XD)

This is undoubtedly one of the best videos you've ever made. Fascinating, beautiful, and incredible in scope. There were a couple I'd never heard of. Thanks for doing a video that reminds us of the glories our world holds--and the importance of our stewardship of them.
