If this was true, then dooku could've defeated sidious on his own. Since dooku was fighting on even ground against yoda, unlike sidious who fought yoda on senate pods. It would be interesting to see a fight like that. Obviously, sidious would win due to force lightning or some other technique.

Umm not sure about that. If that's the case why didn't he leave immidietaly? Why did he even fought Anakin and Obi-Wan? They took more out of him then he expected and Yoda was about to finish the job if he didn't escape

Had it continued Yoda would've eventually struck him down. No one can best Grandmaster Yoda with the blade, hes a master of all seven lightsabre combat forms and the forbidden form juno. He's been training almost a thousand years he knows every sequence of every form 😂
