The Marriage Visitor Visa is ideal for couples who wish to get married in the UK. The sponsor can be a UK resident and the applicant can apply for this visa online from anywhere in the world. The applicant gets 6 months visa to enter the UK and marry their sponsor. The visa holder is not allowed to work on this visa and must return to their country of residence.

Hello, thank you very much for your video.
Regarding “the earliest you can apply is 3 months before you travel”, does that mean you can apply from 3 months before you intend travel to the UK? For example, applying 1 month before you travel is permitted as it within 3 months of you traveling and not any earlier. Or, is it suggesting that you must apply more than 3 months before you travel, for example, applying 4 months before you travel is permitted as it is more than 3 months before you travel. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!

I'm egyptian and I'm officially married to UK citizen under Egyptian law, however I need to register our marriage in UK in registry office for my husband to apply for army accommodation, because they have said that they need our marriage to be recognized in UK to eligible to apply for that home.
So.
I don't have a job would be my husband's sponsership be enough to support my financial stay in UK?

Hello, I was hoping you can clarify these for me: I am from Greece and I have the settled status - if we were to get married to my fiance (who is based in Greece at the moment) would he firstly need to apply for the visitor Visa or do we need to book the venue first? Also, would he need to send physical documents (passport, evidence of relationship etc.) with international mail and then wait until he has the documents back?
