A Marriage Visitor Visa is a type of visa that allows individuals to enter the United Kingdom for the sole purpose of getting married or entering into a civil partnership with a Settled person. This visa is specifically designed for individuals who do not intend to settle in the UK and who plan to leave the country after the marriage ceremony.

In the United Kingdom, the Fiance Visa is officially known as the "Fiancé(e) or Proposed Civil Partner Visa." It is a type of visa designed for individuals who intend to marry or enter into a civil partnership with a UK resident or citizen and subsequently settle in the UK. The Fiancé Visa allows the applicant to travel to the UK for a period of up to 6 months to marry their partner and then apply for further leave to remain in the UK as a spouse or civil partner.

I have a question if possible please:
I have a Spanish passport, but I am settled in the UK (permanent) living 20 years here..
Would it be possible to get married with my Algerian Spouse on a Marriage Visitor VISA, to then apply for this EU SETTLEMENT Permit Visa after she returns to Alegria, for her to come over again to the UK.

The reason why I ask, is because I saw in the GOV website, stating that for the Marriage Visitor Plan they must not be planning to settle in the UK. (2024 update):

"you’ll leave the UK at the end of your visit

you’ll not live in the UK for extended periods through frequent or successive visits, or make the UK your main home"

Kindly correct me if I'm wrong.
So would it be possible to bring my Spouse after getting married in the UK on the Marriage Visitor Visa, with the EU Family Permit Visa.

Hello Sir,
When I returned to UK from Tenerife Border security stopped me and detained me more than 8 hrs. From wrong sources I assumed that if I leave UK for shòrt period in upon return my visa will automatically start another 6months.

But it's totally wrong informations. I was shocked. I showed 2 emails from Home Office extended my visa and my marriage certificate . They released me in one condition that's I've to apply UK spouse visa within 14 days. We applied xith the help of a law farm but rejected by stating that our records is genuine but COVID-19 is over, I can go back to Canada.
I returned to Canada voluntarily, 15months ago.

My question is can I apply uk spouse visa now??is it complicated or different than normal uk spouse visa??

Do i have to write all my travel world history in details last 10 years???
