General Finishes Lamp Black Milk Paint is my favorite black paint! The double paint wash on the bare wood is magic at suppressing the reddish tone of the wood. I'm a bit disappointed that you didn't choose a green paint but it might have been difficult to find a color that works as well as this black! Great job!

Not a fan of painting furniture on most older pieces.
However, this came out awesome.
I was not a big fan of the original style of the piece.
So, upgrading this as you did was perfect for this piece.

Gorgeous…although not a fan of the style, it turned out just beautiful! I love the colors you used, especially the top and legs!
