That looks wonderful. I have my mom's China cabinet that is just like this. She bought it in May, 1952 months before I was born. I've loved it all these years but have not loved the mahogany finish. This make over is so beautiful! You did a wonderful job! I especially love the finish you did on the shelves.

I come from a long line of cabinet makers, so instinctively, I want the wood to stay natural. I have trained myself to like painted wood - unless it's mahogany. lol Not my place to be mad about your choice for your stuff. I really like the way you did the legs to take out the extraneous curves.

I believe the choices that you make to refurbish I guess this piece is all good I think it looks beautiful. But I can understand mahogany oh what a beautiful wood .

I like the way the cabinet turned out, but the shelves are distracting me from seeing the items inside. I wish you would’ve painted the shelves black as well. They just look like brown shelves, floating in the air with items on them
