I’ve got about 43 continuous years of owning and driving 60s and early 70s Chevelles. I was really excited when the aftermarket EFI systems came out in the early 2000s. However, I have never talked to or read about anyone who installed a Holley Sniper EFI system (or similar system) and did not have major and continuing problems with it within the first two years of ownership. All the happy reviews you see online are from people who just installed the system and have not yet encountered the problems that inevitably arise. Thanks, but I’ll keep my Quadrajet.

I was so fed up with carburetor issues, chokes, etc. Before I moved forward with my restoration, I wanted to make sure everything was running perfectly.

This EFI system really does help. although I'm still fine-tuning mine, I would recommend it to anyone.

I’m having the same EFI installed on our 383.

Hook up your dome light (driver door pin) to your fuel pump relay. Fuel pump will prime as you get in the car.
