Its been officially confirmed that the brothers can stop their aging if they want to but choose not to. Also, their devil trigger forms do not age.

I remember there being an official source somewhere that said that Dante actually was double Nero's age in DMC4, so that's spot on.

But actually Nero was 19 just like Dante and Vergil was in DMC3. So the correct math would be; 19x2=38
And then, 38+5=43

Based on facial features and expressions, I’d personally gauge early 50’s based on Dante’s wrinkles and how much easier he seems to tire out in DMC5. And with how sunken and gaunt Vergil looks, I’d say it’s a fair assumption.

Keep in mind that when they transform into their demon forms/sin forms, they stop their aging. Perk of being a half demon. I think that is why vergil looks slightly younger than Dante IMO due to being a demon for a little bit longer and tapping into that power a lot more often compared to Dante who doesn't care for his demon side too much and only really relies on transforming during situations where he is at a disadvantage

5 years after the last one... chronologically be DMC 2. So Dante is older than that in DMC 5.

Well, the novels confirm Nero to have been born when Dante and Vergil were 20 (Vergil having... uh... made Nero at 19), so if Nero is 23 in DMC 5, then yeah, that'd put Dante and Vergil at 43.
