I noticed something this time that I had not before. The pained look on Rumple's face when Henry walks in. The realization that his boy had a boy of his he never knew about. Like a family curse, every son grows up without a father.

I like how Henry actually jumps out the window when he finds out XD

The thing that cracks me up about this scene is the fact that Henry literally called his mom Emma all the time but, of course, when the plot calls for it, he immediately calls her Mom lol

I love when Neal busts through the door yelling 'Hey!' He's so determined to protect Emma but in the very next moment you see him thinking 'Crap! What am I doing? I'm confronting the guy Ive been terrified of since I was 14. Crap!' He's scared spitless but he steels himself and holds his ground because he's not going to let Emma suffer his father's wrath.

Everything is perfect in this scene. Perfect.

Without a line of dialouge the characters convey everything they're feeling, be it Rumple realizing Henry is his foretold grandson, Neal realizing that he had done the same thing to his son that his father had, and Emma's worst fears coming to light.

"Manhattan" has been the best episode of the entire series. I doubt it will ever be topped!

Henry hates Emma.

Emma hates Baelfire and Rumple.

Baelfire hates Rumple.

And Rumple hates the whole world

What a fantastic family reunion

Years later, this is still my favorite scene.

ETA: Just checked back on this some more years later. Still watch it every once and a while, but I usually don't bother with the comments. Thanks for the likes! Of course, the acting is stellar, but this was also oz important to the plot, as established by that point. 2 years had been leading up to this, back when things were more planned out and cohesive.
Here's some things I can point out that make this my favorite.

I really enjoy 1:24 to 1:36. Rumple realizes first and gives a little finger wag. The shock probably silenced him long enough for Nealfire's realization. His impressive rage from just moments before had cooled. Poor Henry didn't get it until a bit later. The way he asked "Is that Baelfire?" was so innocent. Such a sharp contrast to the confusion and hurt he would feel shortly after. The range of emotions from Nealfire is great. The hand gesture at 2:19 is heartbreaking. I also really enjoy watching Emma the entire time. She was so much more resigned after Nealfire burst in, and she was already fairly guarded about having to lie to Gold. Probably knew this wasn't going to end well. The looks at 0:42 and 0:57 really cement it.
