I live in the South. When I have had a flat tire I got out to start changing it. Before I actually got the spare out 3 different men stopped to help me and had me back on the road in 15 minutes. Love our Southern guys!! Y’all are the best!!

The world needs more Men’s Men. Masculinity is a blessing and very needed in the culture today.

As a woman who moved from The PNW(Washington state) TO the South(Georgia), I am extremely appreciative of the men that the south has bred and cultivated!

As a woman who was born in So Cal, but was raised in Texas and later moved back to Cally… I have my own, older SnapOn roll away, a second road case roll away, a drill press, a good 2 ton floor jack a set of metal car ramps, and several smaller-ish tool boxes and assorted power tools… My dad taught me how to drive his pickup with 3 on a tree and my brother taught me how to drive his stick shift mustang and before I could learn how to drive any of that I had to be able to change a tire and check the spark plugs along with check the oil at the very least… then I got to get behind the wheel. At 32 I got my commercial truckers license and then drove 48 states and Canada for over 20 yrs. But I am always forever grateful for a gentleman to get the door for me or offer to help. Because a good man will do just that!

Texan here … I know how to change my own oil/tires, but here in Texas if you get stranded on the highway you will have no less than 2 trucks stopping to help you change it before you can even get your jack out, especially if they see you’re a woman. I even had a tow truck driver once with a Tommy lift on his truck stop and lift my car up and change my tire for no charge. He just wanted to see me safely on my way, since it was dark.

Just being a southerner born and bred, we learn most skills just by watching grandpa or dad do stuff. Even our mother show us skills because they watched their dads fix stuff and just picked it up.

If you ask for sweet tea, and they hand you a sugar packet, you've gone too far out of the South.

He’s spot on 😂
My bf is a mountain man so he knows how to do it all. People are shocked that he can hunt, grow and can food, fix a car, build a house, herbs and foraging, raising animals etc.

My son lived for awhile in L.A. and now lives in NYC. He changed the oil in a buddy's car for him the other day, and his buddy was just *amazed.*
"How do you know all this stuff!?"
My son said, "Dude. Even little ole Grandmas in the South know how to do that. " 😂😂

My wife pulled into a gas station with a flat on her way home from work.
Got out and changed the tire in a skirt suit and heels while 3 guys stood there and watched rather than offer assistance.
(she knew what she was doing, they hadn't a clue)
I was embarrassed for them when I heard what happened.

I was born in the south and lived in NYC for 1 year during covid. I worked in healthcare and built a UVC box in order to sterilize things after working with a covid patient. So many of my coworkers were amazed and asked me how I built it. My response "I lined a box with aluminum foil and hung a light in it." It really surprised me that something that simple seemed so impressive to them.

A big part of that I feel is pretty much everything you could want is within walking distance in a city. Here in the south, you would have to drive 45+ minutes just to get to a grocery store, and you won't even come close to the same selection.

I've seen two women drive away from the pump with the nozzle still in the opening. Ripped the nozzle and hose right off the pump. One at least stopped, the other just drove away. When I was done, I talked to the guy inside and asked him what was going to happen to the women. He said for the woman who stayed-nothing, for the woman who drove away he called the cops for what is basically a hit and run and she would be sued for damages.

I was a little afraid of what he might say in this video, but he nailed it on the head about southern men. They are the best! Also, this guy is really funny and I've never even heard of him! I'm subscribing!!!

As a southern woman, I've heard so many northern and west coasts guys say southern women are basically men with boobs. I've always counter this by saying, "Yes compared to you, we are basically men with boobs." I don't know what the heck happened to the rest of the country to make ya'll so soft. I guess it was a good thing we weren't a part of the Civil War Restoration.

As a Southern Momma, I taught my children to use Sir and Mam, when addressing adults. We were "corrected" by some women who said, "that made them feel too old". I was not going to have my sons show disrespect because these "silly women".
