Wonder when the law firms of Dewey, Suem and Howe are gonna start commercials for the puberty blockers that doctors and clinics provide

I remember being in college in 1977/78 time frame when the started letting attorneys advertise. Prior to that, they could advertise on TV, radio, phone books, billboards, newspaper, no media at all & there was no internet at the time. We didn't have all the "ambulance chasers" before that. People didn't sue for every little thing like now. Cases of suing has skyrocketed & you wonder why insurance is so expensive.

The crazy side effects listed in the commercial were kinda crazy considering what its supposed to treat, and it clashed most humorously with the happy visuals😂

I was on ozempic (switched to mounjaro), but i religiously read all the information that comes with prescriptions before taking it. When i heard about the lawsuits coming out, i was like "dude, they warned you about this before you started taking it!" If you research how semiglutide actually works, it's a given that something like that might happen with some people. It's also a very new drug that they don't have all the long term side effect information on yet. I knew the risks, i know the risks.

Yeah but it was made for diabetes not weight loss. Being a diabetic I had to take Trulicity & had the same nightmare. I was only on it for a few mo B4 my stomach started shutting down, food started fermenting in my stomach, my entire torso would fill w/gas & I was throwing up constantly. These meds are no joke. I'm not suing, but damn all 3 should be banned.

Unfortunately suing is sometimes the only way to get stuff done. My neighbor was parking his camper on my property and I called the police and they said it's a civil matter so I have to file a suit against my neighbor to get him to stop parking on my land.

At some point we're gonna see commercials that say "If you were alive from ___ to ___ you're entitled to compensation" 😂😂😂

Plus we are one of two nations that allow advertisements for prescription drugs.

We want an easy fix for everything.

I’m on vacation in America and it’s crazy the amount of drug commercials I’ve seen. It’s literally 90% of the commercials and every single one has like 10k possible side effects worse then the original illness. Blows my mind how these drugs can even get on the market.

The drug actually causes irreversible gastroparesis in a number of the people who take it. It isn’t just the sue happy, Ben.

That would be cool to have the “You Loose You Pay” policy.

It also is a strong indication that the drug got approved without enough trial time. Drugs that get pulled quickly.off the market are the ones that were not scrutinized enough before they got approval.

I'm a type 2 diabetic that takes it. And I don't have any problems with it.
