passed my theory test today first time and this video really helped even though i watched it so last minute yesterday so thank you!

So I'd imagine out of the 19 clips you need to be scoring between 3 &5 points the more you get for each clip the better just incase there's one clip you don't get any points for. I am yet to practice but I will be soon. I've been studying the theory test for the past week with all the questions, I am pretty confident with that now, its time to study the hazard one.
I've brought a package from 'safe driving for life' which has been very useful and just finished over 500 pages of the book.
Going over both and preparing is a huge advantage for getting prepared.

Really don't get these.... Clip 2 - from the moment you see a bin lorry expect people to walk from around the back, foot off the gas, slow down a little and prepare then, not when they do it. Clip 4 - it's obvious the car has pulled across in front of you, the reaction is too slow, you have no way to know at that instant if he will pull back into the correct lane or park, or slow too much and get in your way. Clip 5, you can't assess the speed of the milk truck from the windows, which is when you have to click to get 5. There is no time allowed for assessment of speed. If we all clicked at that point for someone coming from a side road, every such answer would be wrong. Clip 6 - dog in road is a developing hazard from the second you see it, (dogs are unpredictable), not from several seconds later. Clip 7 - car on hard shoulder, actually it's too soon, you can't see it's indicating or moving at the 5 point (maybe video quality issue?) clip 11 - a tractor coming to a junction on the right, isn't necessarily a developing hazard (potential), until he decides to pull out into the face of oncoming traffic (going by the so called rules of potential vs developing hazard). clip 12 - a lorry going down a slip road, with a car in front of you, is a developing hazard from half way down the slip road, if not before... from that time you should adjust to expect it to join the carriageway and be anticipating that in your speed, maybe even changing lane.. in this case it becomes a developing hazard only because you didn't plan sooner for his entry to the road.... but hey, i've only been driving for about 40 years without an accident, incl mant thousands of miles in Europe!, who am i to say?
