How to pass the hazard perception test | Your questions answered

In this video I answer those questions, such as:

- How many times can I click before I get disqualified?
- Where do I need to click?
- Exactly how does the scoring system work? More clarification on how to score well.
- Do I need to click for fixed hazards, such as bends and hills?
- I can't see the hazards, the video is too blurry!

I used this method in my test and got 59/75 scoring 5 on 7 clips. This is the best method, the system isn’t as strict as you think it is, click 3 times per hazard and you should easily pass.

I used the 3 click rule and got 70/75 in my hazards in my real test. What a nice strategy garunteed pass with it.

On numerous occasions I've spotted the hazardous vehicle before the opportunity to gain 5 points comes up. I then clicked again and scored 1, so I've lost 4 points several times over a couple of practice tests. I don't particularly feel like the test is all that great as it teaches you to focus too much on potential hazards around you, and not where you're actually going. You don't want to be frantically looking around for possible hazards, you want your eyes focused on the road. I think a much better implementation would be through emulation like the amusement arcade machines which have seats, dashboard controls, gears, etc. It would allow you to react to the hazards yourself, and score you based on your reactions. VR is another possible replacement for this aging test.
