I saw Elton John play this song at the HIC in Honolulu Hawaii in 1971. I had never heard of him. Before the weird glasses and high heals. I think he only had a drummer and a bass player with him. One of the best concerts I ever attended.

had this on 8 track-remember those?-back in 1971-am now 66 years old so i remember thinking back in those hard partying days that i probably wouldn't make it to 46 let alone 66! but i somewhat straightened myself out and still hangin' in there-but man those days were some of the best- cruisin' in the western mass berkshires in my '69 plymouth satellite and smokin' some of the best. time just keeps rollin' on
