Recorded at A&R Recording Studios, New York, for a live radio broadcast on WABC-FM, and then released on the album 17-11-70 (11-17-70 in the US).
Nigel Olsson on drums and backing vocals, and Dee Murray on bass and backing vocals. This was the entire Elton John Band on Elton's first world tours in 1970 and 71.
"Sixty Years On" comes from the album "Elton John," released earlier the same year.

This is my favourite version of Sixty Years On. Bass, piano, and Drums. That's all anyone needs. Who needs guitar or synthesisers?. Thanks for posting. This is the song I want to have played at my funeral when I die. :)

Same version I witnessed at the Fillmore East NYC with Nigel Olsson on drums and and Dee Murray on bass. Elton wearing his white winged boots and singing for the Angels....
