I tryed to show Ellie's sorrows, and the emptyness Joel's death left in her life.
At the end, showing Joel riding in a colorful environnement, was a peacefull way to say him goodbye. He was a bad guy in the past, but since he meet Ellie, he changed, he fought to protect someone he loved, we all can respect that.

The fact that the last good memory she had with Joel prevented her from getting revenge broke me deep inside. That last flashback ... Damn it was so heartbreaking to watch Joel cry for his baby girl's forgiveness.

Every time Ellie or Joel sings I get emotional. I don't know why. There something about their voices and the stories. Thinking about all the things they have been trough. I can't imagine how they feel losing everyone they love.
