I had listened to this a lot before Part 2 came out and, from listening to the lyrics, surmised there was some foreshadowing of events in the game--which there were. But, what pleasantly surprised me, was hearing this during Part 2's end credits. It was a nice touch by Naughty Dog and I loved it.

Funny how accurate Troy's part is appropriate for Joel, and how in character they are when they sing this very peculiar song, makes me think Ellie and Joel are answering to each other. Like the entire game is also about the failure of speech to understand each other. And when speech fails, we have... songs.
