I teared up at the "I'm going there ... to see my father" part.
Then broke down when Joel started his verse. Powerful.

All the real ones shed tears when this started playing after staring into space for 10 minutes trying to process all that we had experienced. 10/10 would eternal sunshine to experience it all again.

I love this game even though there were problems. But i'm gonna miss Joel so much.

I used to think the story was about revenge like everyone seems to make fun of, but the more I look into the story and its implications I'm starting to realize that it's more of a story about forgiveness. And not just about Ellie forgiving Abby, but of Ellie forgiving Joel, and Abby forgiving Joel. Tommy is also unable to forgive Abby by the end. Ellie is able to, but it comes too late and she loses it all. Ellie's forgiveness of Abby stems from her awareness of Joel's actions that caused Abby to act, whereas her forgiveness for Joel himself comes from an understanding of him as a human being and his morality. Abby's forgiveness of Joel comes from her realization of humanity, and a disconnect from her lust for revenge as she realizes she's caused suffering.

Those lyrics didn’t have much meaning until Joel’s death for Ellie and that is clearly what happened this game to her.

No matter what this was a lose-lose situation for Ellie. Revenge will only bite her in the ass and for her friends and loved one and if she did not search for Abby, she would continue to have PTSD about Joel’s death. She’s damned either way.

Now to make even matters worse, she lost her fingers meaning she truly lost what little she had left to remember Joel by when playing the guitar which this man has taught her. I...I don’t know how to feel about this game. I’m legit mad at how horrible the shit our main characters from part 1 had to go through. This was NOT AT ALL what I had anticipated for this game.

This made me feel like i actually knew Joel personally and he was real. When i heard his voice it felt like i hadnt heard from him in years😭 what videogames can do nowadays

During the final fight with ellie and abby i was on the edge of my seat i really didnt want either of them to die. At 1st i hated Abby for killing joel but about halfway threw Abbys story i grew to like her and understand her
