I like how these guys weren’t pushy and they were on a side street. Some of those Indian suit tailor’s are relentless, they won’t leave you alone! I realize it’s a good deal for these suits, but trying on a suit in that warm humidity is the last thing I wanna do! 🔥

I had a suit made in Sukhumvit Road about 8 years ago. It was less than £150 UK.

You look great, suit looks fantastic. I also love the professionalism and efficiency of Jay and Dave's business. I had a couple suits made in Pattaya a few years ago, and they're the best suits I've ever owned.

Hello Jonny, I think you paid to much for that suit. In 2016 I paid $80 for one suit. So I got 4 done for $320 Australian.

Looking sharp Jonny! Got a 3 piece made up last month in Patong...never buying off the rack again. The quality in fabric and workmanship is worth the price when you feel like a million bucks.

You probably got the suit for a song, 100s cashmere & then some, the rest was for the beer

All of a sudden, YouTubers are getting suits at Galaxy. Out of the blue with no negotiations from notorious negotiators. LoL. Nice looking suit, though.

Nice fit. Traveling to Bangkok in December and surely will try out this place. Unsure about the quality of fabric because when you say that you like something, they raise the price.

I am not being a smart arse. I know it is not 2016. Just last week I saw a video on You Tube, where 2 English guys made 2 suits for $100 each. I would think it would have been American dollars. It was somewhere in Bangkok. In 2008 I was charged 80, 000 Baht for 4 trousers, I jacket, 2 Shirts and a Belt. Now not knowing the currency. I was ripped off. and that was an Indian Taoilor. Now I go to a Thai Tailor, who is pretty reasonable, and I give my business to the Thai people.

Jonny is a very handsome guy. He reminds me a bit of Elvis. He is a nice guy, but I feel he should have priced with other tailor shops. My frank opinion. I would never go to an Indian tailor. They have the price embedded in their brains before the customer walks in. In 2018, I made a Tuxedo, 4 suits, 4 trousers and about 5 shirts when I was in Phuket. All that cost me 18, ooo baht. I do not know how much in dollars. But I know it was much less in Australia. In Australia it would have cost me $500 for a suit. Well here everything is expensive, because of the overheads involved. But who is stiching the suits there in Thailand. It is the Thai's, and what do they get paid. Sweet nothing. Because they have to feed their family and pay their bills. They take whatever is given to them. I also made 3 pair of snake shoes that cost me $275 . Here I would be paying not less than $800 a pair. The first tailor ripped me off. After that I got wiser.

Basically these shop fronts are owned by Indians and have Burmese sales guys with all their fabric options.
The linings are quoted as silk or bemberg but are polyester. The Italian fabrics are all Chinese.
The interlinings and wadding’s are not Freudenberg etc but a cheaper Chinese knock off.
They are all sewn at the same “place” then the shop collects them and returns for fittings and adjusts accordingly.
They are NOT top quality but satisfactory and will fit well. I bought one for funerals and leave it in Australia with a pair of shoes.
Certainly not comparable to Zegna or Canali…but you pay peanuts…..
