Hi Jeanelle! I am from India and I would recommend you to try payasam(sweet dish). It's a South Indian dessert which we eat during special occasions. It is made with Milk( you can use coconut milk as a substitute), sugar, Vermecelli etc..💜 Love your videos 🖤✨

Yeah, long go my Filipino roommate’s mother would make huge long lumpia, then cut them into shorter bite size pieces, and then fry them. Oh man, I miss those. They were so delicious!

My mom cuts it the last way but wraps it from the side going to the other edge of the triangle, she does the same thing when she buys the circle wrapper. We also always make the smaller servings. But if it's lumpiang gulay (vegetable) she usually uses the whole wrapper

My family has always done a long roll with both ends open. Before cooking or freezing, we'd cut them in half if it's just for the fam, or cut them in thirds if we're party prepping.

Indonesian spring rolls also called Lumpia but with different fillings. Usually bamboo shoots or carrots, chicken and sprouts.

The Filipinos version seems very delicious though 😊

In the Philippines, they’re typically circular.

Quick way is to use the whole wrapper, fill it with lumpia mix, then roll. Freeze and cut into 3 pieces then fry!

My mom pipes the meat out into long skinny lumpia, but she tightens it with a chopstick before she finishes rolling. We then freeze and cut into pieces before frying. I prefer to freeze before frying because it makes it really crispy.

#3! The way my mom made it. Plenty of filling, but still a nice crispy wrapper!

I prefer the big one #1. That's how my mama made them and they have the crunchy layers

You can mix a little bit of flour and water to glue it and the mixture should be a little bit like water and thick

Yes.. Here in Batangas, we spread the meat all over the wrapper and roll it, thats to evenly taste the meat and feel the crunch in between meat.

I have friends who leave the ends open, or if you prefer, wrap it with the ends open and just shove it the tail ends of the wrapper into the open end to seal it up... if that made sense.

my mom does neither of those, she just rolls it (both open in the ends) and fills it in and cuts it into two so there's more pieces
