Lumpia
Ingredients
* 1 carrot(cut into chunks)
* 1 celery stick (cut into chunks)
* 1 onion (cut into chunks)
* 8 cloves garlic
* 3 green onions (cut into chunks)
* 3 water chestnuts
* 1.5 lbs ground pork
* 1 tbsp soy sauce
* 1 tbsp fish sauce
* 2 tsp sugar
* 1.5 tsp salt
* 2 tsp black pepper
* 1 egg
* Lumpia wrappers
* 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
* 2 tbsp water
* Oil for frying
* Sweet chili sauce for dipping
Instructions
1. In a food processor, blitz together carrots, celery, onions, garlic, green onions, and water chestnuts.
2. Combine the blended vegetables with ground pork along with soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, salt, black pepper, and an egg.
3. Make your lumpia using a burrito method by placing some filling in the center then spreading it out into a log. Bring over one end of the lumpia to cover the filling and then fold the sides making sure everything is tucked in. Roll the lumpia and seal with a mixture of flour and water.
4. Fry the lumpia at 350-375 degrees Fahrenheit for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
