If It's a software-only change, and they push it to the existing s line, and it is actually just even one increment better than the current system, without even being to the level of competitors, I'd say yeah, that's a bloody hit at the competition given what they managed to do without it, let's say just the s5.

Maybe a firmware update for the S1, S1H and S5? We can dream. ;) I don't really use autofocus that much anyway, but it would be nice to have.
