I have the 8th in 2024 some of the iOS 16 updates were terrible and made some apps bug out but now with 17+ iOS it’s been fine. Resolution on YouTube at 720p is the best experience. You can go up but it’s going to lag. 🤷🏾‍♀️I personally feel like I can hold on to this for 2-3 more years until I upgrade to iPad Pro for. Most people get iPad for procreate I’m still getting upgrades from the App Store & can download procreate dreams if I wanted to. So if you can afford iPad 8 I’d get it iPad 9 doesn’t seem like such a huge improvement to justify the up charge if you have the money to get an iPad 10 do it! Better media experience but yea if your broke but want procreate/paint get iPad 8th it still hold up in 2024 & is still being updated.
