Snowball cookies, Mexican wedding cookies, Russian tea cakes, pecan sandies, lokume, whatever you call them, these are the easiest cookies you'll ever make! Sooo good and you can experiment with different nuts.

◾️2/3 cup granulated sugar
◾️2 cups all-purpose flour
◾️1 cup chopped hazelnuts
◾️½ cup ground hazelnuts
◾️About ½ cup powdered sugar for rolling the cookies in

Awesome recipe! This recipe was the first recipe I ever made, ever! It was called "Mexican Wedding Cakes, " and I found the recipe in a big, red Betty Crocker cookbook from the 1960's. I did not add nuts when I made them, but I definitely rolled them in powdered sugar. Thanks for the tip about letting them cool completely. These were incredibly sweet, buttery, and delicious: now I need to make them again! Thanks for sharing!

Hazelnuts...YUM! I usually use pecans or walnuts, but Hazelnuts sound super! I like that you mix ground and chopped hazelnuts. The cookies are beautiful and look delicious! Thank you for the great instructions!🌼😊🌷

I'm in love with Mexican wedding cookies! When someone brings them to a party I'm all over the table where they are. 😍 These are some of the best one I've seen I'm 🤤 and I love the cutting board at the end.

Oh, wedding cookies. Interesting. It must be meaning live like snowball rolling. Getting bigger and bigger as you roll and roll so your possessions and kids are getting bigger. My own thought. Yum yum.
