My Mom's Betty Crocker cook book called them Russian Tea Cakes? I am pretty sure that's what they called them. Then in Texas they called them Mexican Wedding cookies. Me I call them good.. So easy to make and so delicious. They are gone as fast as we can make them. Never met a soul that didn't love them. Well Done Mrs. Vickie! Yum.

Hi Vickie, I love these type of cookies! And you made them so beautifully. Unfortunately… I came down with a cold yesterday… A real heavy one… And I’m resting. Unfortunately I won’t get a chance to do a dessert video Collab. But thanks so much for thinking of me. But maybe next year! Have a wonderful Christmas and enjoy lots of those goodies you’re making! Love, Mary❤️😘❤️

Hello friend, these look so very delicious. Pecans are my favorite nut and I like them in sweet and savory foods alike. Thank you for reminding us about this classic wonderful cookie. I had to giggle when you said you were going to do a marathon cooking today and then as a YouTuber I know you were thinking, “Why waste opportunities to make some cooking videos!?” 😃

Vickie, I used to make these every year and they are so awesome. Since my husband and I went low carb I haven't baked regular cookies. I have found a few low carb ones. but oh those look soooo good. My mouth is watering right now, lol. Have a very Merry Christmas sweet lady.

My mother made these every year and we called them Mexican Wedding Cookies. I can remember as a child asking Mexican? Wedding? Do they only make them for Mexican weddings? This is Xmas time, not a wedding. Why make them now? Yeah. I was annoying I’m sure. I remember the first one always seemed dry and nasty, but then they began to be so wonderful and I would eat as many as Mom would allow, which wasn’t many (diabetic since 5).

The oven fan bothering people? Wow. I think people need to experience real problems so they can appreciate how fortunate they are to have someone like you bringing us into your home and providing free recipes and lessons so we can share with our families. People are homeless, starving, alone, have terminal illnesses, affected by natural disasters...and so many other REAL problems. A fan noise is nothing.

Don’t get me wrong...I’ve been annoyed by things on other creator’s channels, but if it was such a nuisance I couldn’t handle it, I turned it off. Problem solved.

I hope folks can remember how lucky they are to have the means to be able to listen to your noisy stove fan, and just how lucky they are in general. Thank you Vickie!
