Congratulations Sisi 🎊 👏, let me tell you my story as one of your subscribers, how my emergency fund helped me, my mom was stuck on that snow from Joburg to Durban for more than 12hrs, it turns out she developed thrombus ( clots in the blood) that thrombus traveled to the lungs and coursed PE ( pulmonary embolus), she almost died, and she's not on any medical aid, I had to rush her to a private hospital where I had to pay more than R100 000 ( more than hundred thousands rands ) in cash 😢, but it was all ok, I could part with that amount for my Mom's health, life can not be replaced but money we can still work on it. My story confirmed that emergency funds can come really useful for emergencies. Now I have to start afresh but it's ok, my mom is good, she was discharged from the hospital now, I thank you 🙏🙏, your teachings really help, it very important to have emergency fund, one might ask why I never took her to a public hospital, it was an emergency and I was not going to risk my Mom's health.

Hey Jenn, I am on the same journey of having 100k into my emergency fund, via my FNB savings, I sometimes go steal it as its not easy😂 it is accessible but I always find a way to replace it, eyy its tough😔 at the moment I am standing at 73k😂😭🎉 I don’t know where the 27 will come from but if I managed to reach 73k in 9months, then I can do it🙏 thank you for the motivation, love from a new fam member♥️

Hey Jenn thank you for the motivation it is really inspiring. I am proudly say that even if I did not made it happen on my goal to save on franc I am still grateful that Outside of franc my other savings are getting somewhere and I only realized that yesterday and I know that even if I don't realize all of my goals this year I have at least started to build the discipline that I wanted to build when it comes to my finances so thank you for motivating me share your journey with all of us.
