I have a Lenovo evo i7 laptop. Fn-F6 does not enable/disable the Touchpad. Do you know what Fn key does that?

Oh Thank YOU! I have tried all the fix tips I could find for a non functioning touchpad. None worked. This keyboard shortcut fix was never suggested. Go figure that one. Sbscribed. Thanks again!

Thanks! I never knew this. I use laptops when I sing in a very lively bar and someone fell onto my equipment. When I picked everything up the touchpad was not working. The venue agreed to cover the cost of a s/h replacement so I got another of ebay, but sadly from a jerk who sent me one with an unregistered Windows copy so he's mucking me about. Then I found this thinking I'd find a tutorial for the physical replacement of the touchpad. Then I saw this video, i pressed Fcn & F5 (Dell) and it now works again! Man I feel so dumb for not thinking it could have been switchable. (To be fair to myself I have a big yellow sticker over F5 because I have to hit it at the start of every song.)
